Composition:

Serum gonadotrophin (PMSG) 400 IU; Chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) 200 IU. Today non-infectious reproduction disorders are still a vital problem in modern swine production farms; thus it is essential that gilts as well as sows reach fertile heat at the optimum moment during the reproductive cycle. GESTAVET induces heat and ovulation in sows, between 3 and 6 days post-inoculation, since it contains two gonadotrophins, complex protein substances (glycoprotein) capable of supplementing or substituting gonadotropic hormones of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland of males and females. Serum gonadotrophin (PMSG) stimulates the release of the ovarian follicle (induces heat), and chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) stimulates ovulation.

Indication:

Sows: Induction and Synchronization of heat (administering the product from 0 to 2 days after weaning). Gilts: Induction and Synchronization of heat (administering the product at 5.5 to 6.5 months of age and/or at a weight from 85 to 100 kg). 

The administration of this product induces heat between 3 and 6 days after treatment

Dosage and Administration:

Intramuscular. -Use a small quantity of solvent to dissolve the freeze-dried tablet. Mix until the solution is homogeneous. Introduce this solution in the flask containing the rest of the solvent and shake gently until complete dissolution. -Administer immediately after reconstitution of the product. 

DOSAGE: Sows: 5 ml (1 dose)/sow. 

Note: 

Do not administer to pregnant animals.

Precaution: 

Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store refrigerated (between +2 ºC and +8 ºC). 

Do not freeze. 

In use shelf life: 10 hours.
