Live vaccine against Newcastle disease, CL/79 clon, in oral freeze-dried tablet.
The use of cloned strains is a great improvement in live avian vaccines against Newcastle disease, since this makes it possible to have available a completely uniform vaccine virus population, with determined characteristics in respect to pathogenicity, minimum postvaccination reactions, absence of neutralisation by passively acquired antibodies and high immunogenic activity. These are the reasons why HIPRAVIAR-CLON has been developed. This vaccine can be administered to all types of poultry without manifestations of secondary reactions and little neutralisation by passively acquired antibodies. Therefore, the active immunity conferred is longer lasting than conventional virus vaccines against Newcastle disease.

Composition:Live Newcastle virus CL/79 clon ≥ 106.5 EID50
Indication: Poultry: Prevention of Newcastle disease in broilers, hens and chicks intended for later use as layers and breeders.
Dosage and Administration: Ocular-nasal, oral or spray. 1 dose/bird.
- Ocular-nasal: Once the freeze-dried tablet is dissolved in the diluent included (sterile distilled water), administer one drop of the vaccine (0.03 ml) per bird, in the eye or nare, using a standard dropper (normally 30 ml per 1,000 doses).
- Oral: Dissolve the freeze-dried tablet by flling the flask in which it is contained to half volume with fresh tap water, shake and pour it into an adequate container up to a volume of drinking water that can be ingested within ½ or 1 hour at most, keeping in mind that:

Spray: Validate the apparatus to be used to check the necessary amount of water. To do this, fill the apparatus with fresh tap water and spray the surface which birds occupy, in a manner so that the heads of all the birds are covered with droplets of water. Check the quantity of water used, and this will be the amount that will have to be used to mix with the necessary doses, depending on the number of birds to be vaccinated. Note:
- Shake gently until complete resuspension of the freeze-dried tablet before administration.
- In case of administration by oral route, do not use water with chlorine or disinfectants.
- Spray administration requires the use of protective mask and glasses.
- Treat the disposable materials by boiling, incineration, or immersion in a suitable disinfectant, which has been authorised by the competent authorites.
Precaution: Store at +2 to +8 °C, protected from light.
