Inactivated vaccine against Newcastle disease, in injectable emulsion
Newcastle disease is caused by a haemagglutinating virus which belongs to the family of Paramyxovirus. Prophylaxis against this disease is carried out by using lentogenic and live modied strains with low pathogenic effects, which are administered to create an interference and to stimulate actively the immunological system of birds. Immunity duration is limited by using live vaccines and can produce adverse reactions after administration to animals which are not free from PPLO. For this reason, it is advisable to use inactivated vaccines like HIPRAVIAR BPL2 which increase the levels of immunity conferred by live vaccines and maintain them for a longer period of time, avoiding any undesirable reaction in vaccinated birds.
