Vietnam: Animal feed export to China rose over 2 times

In the first seven months of 2021, Vietnamese export of animal feed and raw materials for feed production to China - one of our key markets - has increased sharply.
According to the General Department of Customs, the total export turnover of animal feed products reached $617.63 million, up 46.7% compared to the same period last year.
China is our biggest importer in terms of Vietnam’s animal feed and raw materials, with turnover reaching $221.12 million, up 109% from the same period last year, which accounts for 35.8% of national total animal feed export turnover
Meanwhile Cambodia remains the second largest market with $90.16 million, up 36% year-on-year; accounting for 14.6% of the total turnover.
Vietnamese exports of animal feed to the USA hit US$67.39 million, increasing 16% over the same period last year, accounting for 10.9% of the country's total export turnover of animal feed and raw materials.
